Clinical Communications Lead

Clinical Partners is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation. With a bold ambition to become a leading, outcomes‑driven mental healthcare provider, we’re committed to improving lives through effective, personalised and technology‑enabled care. As our clinician workforce continues to expand rapidly, we’re now looking for an experienced Clinical Communications Lead to elevate how we engage and communicate with our employed and self‑employed clinicians.

This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in complex, fast‑moving environments and can bring structure, clarity and strategic thinking to a growing organisation. You’ll shape our clinician communications approach from the ground up, ensuring messages are coordinated, impactful and aligned with both clinical and business priorities.

You’ll combine a detail‑focused, pragmatic and adaptable style with real energy and enthusiasm, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to influence how we engage with a growing clinical workforce — and want to play a key role in transforming mental healthcare — we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a communications strategy that supports clinician engagement during a period of significant organisational change.
  • Bring structure and forward planning to all clinician communications, working closely with clinical leadership, people, operations and technology teams.
  • Partner with senior leaders to craft clear, consistent and compliant communications around key initiatives and updates.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, trust and open dialogue across our clinician community.
  • Champion best‑practice, audience‑focused communication.
  • Support clinical leaders to communicate effectively and consistently.
  • Work with people and technology teams to identify and implement digital tools that enhance communication and collaboration with clinicians.
  • Gather requirements, engage stakeholders and define KPIs for new platforms and systems.
  • Collaborate with the wider internal comms team to create engaging content for clinicians and other internal audiences.
  • Help maintain and improve existing internal communication channels, ensuring content is relevant, accessible and up to date.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness.
  • Analyse feedback and data to refine and improve communication strategies.

Requirements:

Essential

  • Experience in internal communications, change communications or employee engagement within healthcare, regulated sectors or similarly complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence influencing senior leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Strong strategic planning, organisational and project management skills.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Desirable

  • Experience communicating with distributed or self‑employed professional workforces, ideally clinicians.
  • Experience leading digital platform or internal system implementation projects.

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • £60-65,000 annual salary
  • 25 days paid holiday (increasing with service to 28 days) plus bank holidays.
  • A day off for your birthday.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Benefits Platform
  • Life Assurance
  • Discount Vouchers
  • Flexible working opportunities to suit your personal needs
  • Opportunities to take part in charitable events
  • Access to a Wellbeing portal and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
