Job Description
Senior Product Designer
Clinical Partners is one of the UK’s leading private mental health providers, and we’re expanding our product and design team to support our rapid growth.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us build clear, accessible and effective digital experiences for patients, clinicians and internal teams — with a particular focus on supporting neurodivergent users who need predictable, low‑cognitive‑load journeys.
In this role, you’ll lead user research, map out end‑to‑end journeys, design intuitive flows and prototypes, and work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure we’re solving the right problems. You’ll help shape our design system, support consistent design practice across squads, and make sure every decision is grounded in user insight, accessibility and measurable impact on patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
If you’re an empathetic, collaborative designer who wants to use your skills to improve mental health care at scale, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading user research with patients, clinicians and internal teams, turning insights into clear journeys and opportunities
- Designing end‑to‑end experiences, from early concepts and prototypes through to detailed interaction design
- Ensuring accessibility and inclusive design principles are embedded throughout our products
- Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers to validate ideas and deliver high‑quality solutions
- Contributing to our design system and helping scale consistent design practice across teams
- Defining and tracking experience‑focused success metrics and supporting usability testing and iteration
Requirements:
- A strong portfolio showing user‑centred design across web and mobile
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments (healthcare is a bonus)
- Confidence running discovery, research, prototyping and usability testing
- Strong interaction design skills and a solid understanding of accessibility (including cognitive accessibility)
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers and working within platform constraints (Salesforce experience helpful)
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems
- Experience with booking flows, triage/referral pathways or clinical/admin workflows (Desirable)
- Exposure to service design, experimentation or analytics tools (Desirable)
Remuneration and Benefits:
- £80,000 annual salary
- 25 days paid holiday (increasing with service to 28 days) plus bank holidays.
- A day off for your birthday.
- Healthcare Cash Plan
- Benefits Platform
- Life Assurance
- Discount Vouchers
- Flexible working opportunities to suit your personal needs
- Opportunities to take part in charitable events
- Access to a Wellbeing portal and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
